On the hunt for a job? Ethlance is a job market platform, which runs on the Ethereum blockchain and that anyone can access. It uses cryptocurrencies for payments, and doesn’t charge its users any fees — the entire amount is paid by the employer rather than by the freelancer. CryptoKitties is an absurdly popular game, based on fuzzy, collectable (and breedable) creatures called CryptoKitties. The game received $12 million in funding from investors, led by Andreessen Horowitz and Union Square Ventures. Each kitty that you collect is one of a kind. It can’t be replicated, taken away from you or destroyed. Although three cats seem like a handful, there are cat hoarders who really want to catch them all.

2. MetaMask
MetaMask is a bit more on the practical side (no porn or kitties here). It’s a bridge that allows users to run Ethereum dApps on their browsers, rather than running a full Ethereum node. It has a secure identity wall, ensuring that users can manage their identities on various signs and sign blockchain transactions. It can be used as an extension on Chrome, Brave, FireFox, and Opera.
Anyone else addicted to streaming services? LivePeer is a dApp built by Doug Petkanics and Eric Tang, and launched in 2017. The main goal of the project is to increase video streaming, and reduce scaling costs. There’s an increased demand for live streaming among the general population (thanks, in part, to sites like Twitch), and LivePeer aims to combat some of the issues facing streamers today.
