Vertex is the first OTC market for tokens, featuring thoroughly vetted projects ensuring that users have access to quality investments. Vertex is the first and only platform where investors can OTC trade tokens. So how does the Vertex platform work?

Firstly, it’s important to know that there are two user types: Standard User and Institutional Investor. In order to become an Institutional Investor, users must go through tier 1 and tier 2 of the Standard User categories. To become a Standard User is relatively simple, but requires registration. If you’re confused about these User categories, you can click here for a more detailed description.

Registration

In order to register for a basic account (the first tier), users must submit:

Email

Password

Full Name

Country of Residence

Nationality

Phone Number

Users must also save one address for each platform (Ethereum, EOS etc) in order to receive purchased tokens.

Purchasing Digital Assets

Users can buy tokens by transferring from their own wallet tokens to Vertex.Market, and will receive the purchased tokens within 10 minutes or less.

Selling of Digital Assets (offering)

All S1 and S2 (Institutional Investor) users are qualified to sell digital assets on the platform. However, they must supply the following information before Vertex will accept the application:

Which token (from pre-selected token list)

Price per token

Start and End Date

Order Supply

Institutional Admin

Institutional Admin is a sub-page where S1 and S2 users can manage their offerings, staking and user details, as well as access stats and KPIs regarding their activities.

Penalty System

The penalty system issues points for misbehavior. After an account reaches three points, it will be frozen. Frozen accounts can do everything except purchase on the platform, and support must be contacted before the account can be unfrozen.

Fee Structure

The fee structure is the same for both Individual and Institutional Investors. The fee is between 1% (no staking), and 0.1% (staking). Fees can be reduced, depending on the number of tokens the user has staked.

Staking

Individual Investor: For each 100 tokens staked, fee is reduced by 0.1% to a minimum of 0.1%.

Institutional Investor: For each 10,000 tokens staked, fee is reduced by 0.1% to a minimum of 0.1%.

Non-Staked Transactions

For every transaction that has no staking in place, Vertex will take 30% of the fee (0.3% of the total amount), and buy VTEX tokens from the market and lock them on the public address.

Multi-Platform Ecosystem

Vertex.Market is a multi-platform eco-system that allows users to Over-the-Counter trade across multiple platforms. Initial platforms to be implemented are Ethereum and EOS.

Function Overview

The main functions available on the platform are as follows:

Listing of digital assets

Evaluation and digital asset analysis

Explanation and full declaration of evaluation steps

“Buy in” functionality

See upcoming digital assets to be launched

Notifications for digital asset launches on the platform

News about Vertex

As an OTC platform, Vertex can provide users with fantastic opportunities on investments. It’s crucial that both Retail and Institutional Investors have access to the features available on this OTC market, so that they can begin trading in a safe and transparent environment.
