An easy step-by-step guide on how to trade your promo token VTEXP for utility token VTEX on the Vertex.Market.

VTEX tokens form the basis of the whole Vertex ecosystem as all token purchases within the Vertex platform require using the VTEX token. This allows the utility of the VTEX token to grow as the ecosystem becomes more robust.

1. REGISTER

On the Vertex website, in the top right hand corner Sign In. If you are not yet registered, Create Account by clicking the button, filling in your email address and create a password.

1. B1 TIER LEVEL

In order to convert tokens, you will need to be a B1 tier user. This is VERY quick, and requires no KYC.

Simply click on the My Account tab in the ribbon menu:

STEP 1: fill in your basic information

STEP 2: choose between an OTP or Google verification option. This will be used to verify any activity on your account

STEP 3: Select My Ethereum in the left hand column, and enter your Ethereum Wallet address (as below)

3. TRADE VTEXP FOR VTEX

Select Tokens in the ribbon menu, and then select the Vertex Market offering.

Each token on the Vertex website has an information page. Here you can find out everything you need to know regarding the token and project you are interested in. The current offerings are listed below the title banner, followed by a short write up, video and token statistics (including project information, links, token information etc).

Select the offer with the price of 1 (VTEXP) by clicking Buy Now.

STEP 1: you can alter the values, remember when making a transaction to always account in the transaction fee (as this may affect your total tokens outcome). There is no transaction fee for converting VTEXP to VTEX. You have 10 minutes to complete this transaction.

STEP 2: Make payment by either scanning the QR code or entering the address specified on the website. Vertex.Market will automatically enter your Ethereum Wallet address if you included it on your profile. Click “Tokens Sent”. Please make sure that you are transferring the correct VTEXP token with the following contract address: 0x025334708eC6FEbFFf398A71f0719A4c0d66739.

STEP 3: Follow verification prompts to confirm transaction.

The VTEX tokens will now appear in your wallet. Remember that by staking your VTEX tokens you can save up to 90% on transaction fees.
