HOW TO SELL VTEX TOKENS ON VERTEX.MARKET
You’ve heard that Vertex is the go-to market for digital asset liquidity and you want to get involved, but you’re not sure how. We’ve put together an incredibly simple step-by-step guide to selling tokens on the Vertex.Market. To give you a broad overview, the article below will lead you through the various verification processes required by law. Vertex works off a tier system: the more information that you provide, the more you can do on the platform. For instance, to buy tokens you will need B1 status, in order to sell tokens you will need S1 tier status, etc.
Right, let’s get started.
STEP 1: Register
Already registered: click Sign In.
To register: chose Create Account, and enter your email address and new password.
STEP 2: Become a B1 Tier User
Select My Account tab in the landscape menu:
- Fill in your basic information
- Pick between an OTP or Google verification option (used to verify any activity on your account)
STEP 3: Become a B2 Tier User
Select the Complete Your KYC box below you personal information.
In this window you will need to:
- Verify your email address
- Ensure that your personal information is correct
- Upload KYC documents (valid government issued ID, passport or drivers licence and a picture of you holding uploaded document)
- This process usually takes between 1 to 3 minutes, but may take up to 24 hours
STEP 4: Become a S1 Tier User
Once your documentation is approved, head to your profile page and select Upgrade To S1.
From here you will be asked to submit the following documents:
- Information about your first token sale
- Proof of ownership of digital asset / SAFT (min US$10,000 equivalent at time of submission)
- Declaration of funds
- Proof of residence (utility bill)
If your request has a valid token sale offer, your S1 user status will be granted. You will need to conduct the sale within 10 days of S1 verification to hold the tier level.
STEP 5: Submit Your Token Offering
In the left hand side menu, select Offerings. Then click on the green Add Offering box.
Fill in all the information requested and click Add.
Congratulations, you have successfully completed your first token offering on the Vertex.Market. To add your next offering simply return to My Account and follow Step 5.
